5 months old: A non-date celeb

This one’s a first.

We had no plans, no activities set and we didn’t even have time to be alone together. Then again, there’s always a first for everything.

We spent the day with boyfie’s mom, ate puto’t tsokolate which was their all-time fave and did a little grocery. We were supposed to have dinner with friends and boyfie had to leave for band practice which left his mom alone so to prevent that from happening, we went with her to Sunburst (another all-time fave). Boyfie had to go but I stayed with his mom all throughout the meal and the long line towards the taxi. We talked about a lot of things; girl stuff, family, the lifestyle of the high-ranking military officials, Australia and just about everything.I thought it would be uncomfortable but was suprised that it wasn’t. Yes, it was a little awkward at first and there’s always that hesitation to open up but eventually, it turned out ok and I’m more than glad that it did.

Dinner was spent with friends and boyfie caught up with us but he had to leave yet again for his gig.

We ended our 5th month with the two of us in completely different places, connected only through the powers of mobile technology. The only time that we were alone was probably on our way home. Nevertheless, it was a great 5th month.

You would think that it was sad that we weren’t able to spend quality time together. I beg to differ. We spent our day with people who mattered a great deal to us and being with them while we can is a celebration on its own. If this isn’t one of those moments you call great, then I don’t know what is.
